I'm Lily!

I'm a portrait artist, and I love drawing and painting people and faces. I've been making art most of my life, but my favorite style is called tenebrism, or chiasoscuro, working with dramatic lighting and shadows. I really like painting 'light on dark' and I've been doing that style for about 10-12 years. I consider my work to be realistic and fantasy based, as while I do base my work on photographic reference, I take the photos myself (fan art aside), and make creative changes to it to get the dramatic look I want.

I also do photography portraiture, but in a fantasy/illustrative style rather than a traditional one.
